FAN Award for Medicine and Natural Sciences: Congratulations to Florian Wenzl!

For his PhD studies at the Center for Molecular Cardiology, Florian A. Wenzl has developed a new risk assessment method that predicts mortality using artificial intelligence. Named GRACE 3.0, this novel risk score integrates the information gained from previous models and, using machine learning algorithms, is the first to take both non-linear correlations and gender-specific differences into account.
