No doubt, AI will transform cardiology as it is a specialty integrating vast amounts of data on patient history, symptoms, ECGs, laboratory values, and imaging of all sorts. How will it change the role of the physician in cardiology and medicine at large? Will it become doctor’s little helper, the co-pilot of the physician, or will it take over the plane on the journey to the future altogether?
