Artificial intelligence in cardiovascular medicine: clinical applications
Clinical information including patient data, laboratory parameters, and results from clinical examination, large-scale data from (multi-)national registries, imaging data, and (patient) biometrical data can all be processed by artificial intelligence. Resulting models allow for disease phenotyping, enhance diagnostics, improve prognostication, and facilitate treatment decision-making, thus ultimately contributing to a more personalized therapy of
patients with cardiovascular disease.
