Prof. Dr. med. Jürg Hans Beer hat in Bern Medizin studiert und sich anschliessend am Inselspital sowie in New York zum Internisten und Hämatologen weitergebildet. Er ist seit mehreren Jahren Chefarzt und Vorsteher des Departements Innere Medizin am Kantonsspital Baden und Titularprofessor an der Universität Zürich. Ebenfalls ist er Forschungsgruppenleiter im Center for Molecular Cardiology, der Grundlagenforschungsabteilung der Klinik für Kardiologie der Universität und des UniversitätsSpitals Zürich. Herr Professor Beer bringt das nötige Wissen mit, um dem Stiftungsrat als Mediziner beratend zur Seite zu stehen.

Prof. Dr. med. Jürg Hans Beer studied medicine in Bern and subsequently trained as an internist and haematologist at the Inselspital and in New York. He has been head of the Department of Internal Medicine at the Cantonal Hospital in Baden for several years and is a titular professor at the University of Zurich. He is also head of the research group at the Center for Molecular Cardiology, the basic research department of the Department of Cardiology at the University of Zurich and the University Hospital Zurich. Professor Beer brings the necessary knowledge to the Foundation Board as a medical advisor.
